Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between R1AT and R2AT hydraulic hose?

R1AT has one high-tensile steel wire braid and is rated up to 25 MPa (3,630 psi) for medium pressure lines. R2AT has two steel wire braids and is rated up to 41.4 MPa (6,000 psi) for high pressure hydraulic oil lines. Both cover sizes 3/16″ to 2″ and operate from -40°C to +100°C.

What is the minimum order quantity for CNFLEX hydraulic hose?

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 meters per specification, shipped FOB China. CNF and CIF terms are also available on request.

Which standards do CNFLEX hydraulic hoses comply with?

Braided hoses comply with SAE 100R1AT / DIN EN 853 1SN and SAE 100R2AT / DIN EN 853 2SN. Spiral hoses comply with DIN EN 856 4SP (SAE 100R12) and DIN EN 856 4SH.

When should I choose 4SP or 4SH spiral hose instead of braided hose?

Choose four-spiral hose for very high pressure or pulsating applications such as construction machinery, steel plants and offshore equipment. 4SP covers 3/8″ to 2″ up to 44.5 MPa with a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C; 4SH covers 3/4″ to 2″ up to 42 MPa.
